But I am so in love with these handcrafted blown glass pendant lights.

They look really unique and elegant at the same time.

And the color complements the copper tones in quartzite countertops.

It’s like watching sand fall through an hour glass

It’s like watching sand fall through an hour glass, one teeny tiny grain at a time... ⏳

Or better yet, it’s like watching paint dry… on our cabinets… all weekend long… and into next week too… 😅

It’s STILL going! And we are super excited for it to be over soon enough.

The 1️⃣ thing you absolutely need to know if you’re planning on renovating your own home:

There is absolutely NOT A THING that is “quick” or “fast” about a home renovation while you’re going through it.

No matter how organized it is, you still gotta have lots of patience. 😌

Super grateful that everything has stayed pretty much on schedule here though, and all thanks to an amazing GC and reliable subcontractors to get the job done.

First coat of paint is on the cabinets and built-ins now. Impatiently waiting to see how they look when they are finished.

I think… just maybe… we’re about to cross the finish line with this phase of our renovation within the next week or so, minus a couple of finishing touches.🤞🏻

Really can’t wait until… Phase II of our home ren

Really can’t wait until…

Phase II of our home renovation comes to an end.

I get to sleep in my own bed again.

We can eat dinner as a family in our new kitchen.

I can declutter and finally have all the storage I need to put things away, out of sight.

And of course, to continue making our house a home with beautiful decor, unique wall art, & printed photos from all of our travels.

Just a few things on my summer bucket list.
